ABOUT ASTRID

With a B.A. in Studio Art from Brandeis University, Astrid Insieme relocated to Europe in her early twenties, traveling extensively and honing her innate sensibilities in the fine arts and design at every opportunity. She opened DOMAIN, a multi-brand home furnishings boutique in Lisbon’s Design District in 2006, a retail venture which also offered onsite interior design consultancy services to its clientele. A regular at the sector’s most internationally acclaimed trade shows in Paris (Maison & Objet) and Frankfurt (Ambient and Tendence), she has since closed shop and finds herself stateside once again, translating her penchant for visual decadence into worldly interiors which are just as informed by exoticism as they are rooted in traditionalism.

Our design process, which is individually tailored to each of our client’s aesthetic preferences, lifestyle needs and spatial aspirations, is organic, eclectic and always infused with a global, well-traveled flavor. The method and magic of this guided approach has led us to create exquisitely curated and highly personalized environments for our private clients in the United States and abroad.
